NORTHSIDE CARTING EMPLOYEE, TRAVIS COLLELLA, MAKES RESIDENT'S DAY A LITTLE BRIGHTER!
Last month, a valued employee of ours, Travis Colella, changed a City of Salem resident's day immensely. While Travis was diligently completing his route, he noticed some discarded belongings that rested on top of a rubbish barrel. As it turned out, the cell phone and wallet Travis found were lost items of a Salem resident. Thankfully, Travis was able to return these items to the appropriate person and save said resident from a world of misfortune. Travis made such an impression that the resident, Ms. Schmidt, felt it was important that City Hall and our company be aware of his kindness and patience. The e-mail below that represents Ms. Schmidt's appreciation explains it all. Northside Carting would like to congratulate Travis for extending his personal, as well as the company's, image in a positive and caring way. For his efforts, we have provided a $25.00 gas card.
". I received a call from a resident Pamela Schmidt who lost her wallet and cell phone while riding her bike apparently someone took the small amount of money and then threw the wallet on top of a nearby barrel. One of the employees of Northside , Travis saw the wallet on top of the barrel took the time to open it found cell phone and all her important documents called and returned the wallet and the cell phone to her. She wanted us to know how grateful she was that this young man took the time to do this. I called Mark George and informed him of this and he was very happy to hear something positive. He assured me he will commend Travis for his good deed. "
