NORTHSIDE TOUCH A TRUCK
Northside Carting recently participated in the Cummings Properties Woburn, MA "Touch - a - Truck", an event Northside has been a part of for several years. The event took place on September 27th, 2009. Following tradition, Northside showed a roll-off truck that made dozens of children ecstatic throughout the event. In addition to the roll-off truck, we featured our brand new front-load truck that is used for our cardboard route. Being able to provide our newest trucks to the "Touch - a - Truck" was very exciting for us and we hoped that all of the children felt the same way.

As well as featuring our newest trucks, Northside's primary beneficiary, the Make - A - Wish Foundation, joined alongside our company's volunteers to raise money and awareness for the thousands of children that are positively affected by Make - A - Wish. With the combined efforts of Northside and Make - A - Wish volunteers, there were over a hundred hot dogs, dozens of chips, and bottles of water sold at the event, generating over $290 for the Make - A - Wish Foundation.
As always, Northside will match the sales proceeds raised during the event totaling the donation to over $585.

This year's "Touch - A - Truck" made many children smile while playing on and around the trucks we provided to the event. In addition, the combined forces of Northside Carting and Make - A - Wish were able to raise hundreds of dollars which will be able to benefit and support local children.

We would like to thank Cummings Properties for allowing us to be a part of the event and providing space to raise the donations throughout the day. Also, we would like to thank the volunteers from Make - A - Wish who provided immense help during the entire event. And of course, a big thank you to the many that donated towards the Make - A - Wish Foundation!
