TOWN OF ATHOL & NORTHSIDE CARTING
Beginning February 1, 2008, the Town of Athol entered into a three year contract with Northside Carting. The town has recently opened a new transfer station that will be managed and operated by Larry Adams. Northside will provide the service to haul and dispose of the MSW in the compactors, the construction and bulk waste, and metal recycling.
This is a new and exciting project that the town has embarked upon. The Board of Health, represented by its health agent Phil Leger, has championed the project from its conception, through the permitting, and the final construction. Phil has hired Larry Adams to manage and operate the facility.
We at Northside are excited to be a part of the new transfer station in the Town of Athol and look forward to providing the quality service that all of our customer have become accustom too.
We would like to wish the town of Athol, especially Phil, Larry, and the town manager David Ames, the best of luck as they move this exciting project forward.
